Vivo has launched the Y22s mid-range smartphone in Vietnam. The device brings a 6.55-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and an aspect ratio of 20.1:9. The phone has an 89.67% screen-to-body ratio, 530 nits peak brightness, and 70% colour gamut NTSC.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM (has also 8GB of virtual RAM support). There is a micro-sd card slot for memory expansion up to 1TB. It runs on the Android 12 operating system with FuntouchOS 12 user interface.
At the rear, the phone has a dual camera setup. There is a 50-megapixels primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixels macro sensor. On the front, it comes with an 8-megapixels selfie camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and what is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The Y22s measures 164.3 x 76.1 x 8.38mm and weighs around 192 grams. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The price of the Vivo Y22s in Vietnam is VND 5,990,000 ($256). People can purchase it in Dark Blue and Yellow Green colours.
